Terms & Conditions

By commissioning artwork from Chinamiart , you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all orders placed via our website, email, or any communication channel. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a commission.

• Submission

  Client submits a request with full details — style, references, and description.

• Quote & Timeline

  We provide a quote and estimated delivery timeline before work begins.

• Payment & Delivery

  A deposit or full payment is required before work begins. Final files are delivered upon full payment confirmation after your approval.

We accept payments via Stripe (credit/debit cards) and PayPal. All prices are in USD ($) unless otherwise agreed.

• Deposit Policy

  50% upfront payment required before work begins. Full payment required for orders under $50. Remaining balance is due before final file delivery.

• Stripe

  Payments processed securely through Stripe. Chinamiart does not store your card details. Stripe's own Privacy Policy applies to your payment data.

• PayPal

  Please always use the "Goods & Services" option when paying via PayPal. Payments sent as "Friends & Family" are non-refundable and bypass buyer protection.

• Free Revisions

  Each package includes 2 free revisions during the sketch/draft stage.

• Extra Revisions

  Revisions after final delivery or major changes (pose, concept, style) are charged separately at an agreed rate.

• Revision Window

  Revision requests must be submitted within 7 days of draft delivery. We do not accept revisions that fundamentally change the original agreed brief.

• Estimated Timeline

  Delivery times are agreed at the start of each project and may vary based on complexity.

• Rush Orders

  Rush orders may be available for an additional fee — contact us before placing for availability.

• Client Delays

  Delays caused by the client (late approvals, missing references) do not count against the delivery timeline. Finals delivered via email or secure download link.

• Ownership

  All artwork remains the intellectual property of the artist unless a full commercial license is explicitly purchased.

• Personal Use

  Personal use (profile pictures, social media, non-commercial content) is permitted for all commissions without extra charge.

• Commercial Use

  Commercial use (merchandise, resale, brand promotion) requires written permission and may incur additional licensing fees. You may not claim artwork as your own original creation or remove watermarks without permission.

We reserve the right to decline any commission at our sole discretion. We do not create:

• Inappropriate Content

  NSFW or sexually explicit content involving minors in any form.

• Harmful Content

  Content promoting hate, violence, or discrimination.

• IP Violations

  Direct copies of other artists' work, or content intended to defame or harass real individuals.

• Before Work Begins

  Cancellations before any sketches are started may be eligible for a full refund.

• Work In Progress

  Cancellations after work has started are subject to a partial refund based on completion stage.

• After Delivery

  No refunds are issued after final artwork has been delivered and approved by the client.
